Kate was 11 when I was born - she was my big cousin and allowed me to play with her 'high heels' when I stayed at her home at Aunty Lily's. She supported me at the Dental Hospital when she worked there - she smuggled out a syringe for me to play with, with my dollies! None of my friends had one of those!! My mam who died suddenly in December was Kate's Godmother. We lost track of each other over the years as we both moved around the country but she came all the way to my Mam and Dad's Golden Wedding celebration in Newcastle and she visited my ailing mam when she was in the North East. Kate was a beautiful, unique individual person. I feel your loss so much. I love where Kate's resting place is - it's given me such peace to know she is somewhere so tranquil and beautiful and where she would have loved to be. Thank you all so much for doing what you have for our Kate. I'm still crying but you have given me some heartfelt peace. Thinking of you all at this very sad time, lots of love, Cousin Anne xxx
